Since launching our web site just over one year ago we have had several enquiries from venues interested in trying out new acts and from young couples planning their wedding. We also receive enquiries from artists searching for work. These enquiries seem to be on the increase and therefore we have decided to add this facility to our web site which would allow us to "match up" entertainment when it is required. The idea is very simple...we receive an enquiry and we will email all suitable acts for the proposed event. Having found a suitable match we will confirm contact details with both the act and the venue and allow them to negotiate the details directly.
Why use us? There are several advantages to making use of our service. We are under no obligation to supply work to any particualr act and we can be totally honest regarding the quality of the act you are considering. We will not tell you the band are superb if they are not. Price can be a great guideline as to the quality of an act. It is not however a definitive solution to finding the best acts. In general the better the act, the more demand for bookings and therefore a higher price. BUT.....there are exceptions to the rule. A band my be working part time and do not require a lot of work. They may therefore keep the price unrealistic to make it "worthwhile" on the few occassions they do play. A band may be earning off a reputation they built up in the past and you could be paying for a band "name" which no longer has many of the original members of a once terrific band. Or a new band starting out may be keeping the price low just to get work but may be the next big thing. We will give you an honest opinion.
We can also offer very competitive rates for Radio advertising for your event and can promote yor event. free on our web site and We can also offer the abilty to pay for an act by Credit Card.
If you curently work with an agent we recommend you continue to work with that agent. We have no desire to intervene with a system which is clearly working. However, when you come across a requirment over and above the usual supply of acts we can perhaps find that something a little bit different. We can also keep you informed about acts not normally made available and offer them to the agent on your behalf.
If you do not work with an agent we can offer that one point of contact who will consider what is on offer right across the board. Not just the acts of one agency. This also allows us to remain impartial when advising on which act is suitable.
We will inform all of our registered acts and agents of your requirements upon registration.
